Vintage White Eyelet Dresser Scarf Table Runner Sized at 12x39

{HISTORY}

Popular throughout every decade of the 20th century, there is no denying the instant appeal of an eyelet dresser scarf.

Made of bright white cotton, this one features embroidered flowers, leaves, and circles with a scalloped edge. Run it down the center of any plain piece of furniture from a dining table to a sideboard, a dresser cabinet to a coffee table, and you add an instant aesthetic to any room.

We love eyelet best when paired with natural woods, burlap, fresh greenery, and garden blooms making this one an ideal match for country kitchens and outdoor dining tables. It's also a nice size for larger tea trays and beverage carts. 

Classic in design, it's hard to say when this one was made, but if we had to make an educated guess, we'd estimate that it was sometime between the 1960s-1970s. Machine-stitched, it is unique in that it has a curved edge at each end and was beautifully cared for across decades.
