Vintage Swedish Butticki Chickens - Pair of Two Handmade in Sweden

Vintage Swedish Butticki Chickens - Pair of Two Handmade in Sweden

Every kitchen needs a little whimsy...

{HISTORY}

Meet Lemon Drop and Daffodil, your two new kitchen chickens.

Flying in from the 1980s, this pair of wooden chickens was handmade by Butticki  - a family-run toy and decorative arts manufacturer based in Sweden. Started by two sisters in 1984, Butticki has been creating whimsical home and holiday decor in the Swedish tradition for over 40 years.

Made entirely of wood, each chicken stands upright on its own making them cute little shelf sitters tucked in between your plates and your plants. Cheerful as the cheeriest of sunshine mornings, the egg-yolk yellow and bright white color palette of these two is just the ticket to brighten the morning, the mood, and the moment.

Chickens do love to roam and to roost, so don't be surprised if these two wind up wandering around other parts of your home too. Small in stature and slim in size, they easily fit on windowsills, doorframes, bookshelves... basically any little nook that could use the joyful presence of a yellow and white chicken, or two.

{SPECIAL FEATURES}

  • Hard to find Butticki design
  • Each chicken contains its original maker's sticker

{CONDITION}
