{HISTORY} 

In the 1920's and 1930's Asian advertising was highly influenced by the glamorous graphic designs of the Western world including the American film industry and sophisticated fashion cities like Shanghai, Paris and New York. Sometime between those two decades, this ad for Polytamin, an iron boosting tonic, was made for a Japanese company who was importing Chinese medicine to Japan. Capturing all the beauty and elegance of the Chinese culture it was reprinted in poster form in the 1960's when travel to Asia was the ultimate destination in exoticism for jet-setters on the go. 

{SPECIAL FEATURES}

- Poster contains metal stripping at top and bottom edges.

- Heavy paper stock that has aged beautifully with time.

- Bright color palette includes red, green, white, yellow, mustard and brown

{CONDITION}

Contains no rips or holes. Some bumping to side edges as would be expected. Rust mark on reverse side from where another poster brushed up against this one. The rust mark does not bleed through to the front.

Measures 20" inches (width) x 30" inches (length).
