Written entirely in Norwegian, this rare vintage children's book, Kadett og Elias og Vennene Deres (which translates to Cadet & Elias & Their Friends) was written in 1968 by Aja and Alf Fjeldberg, and revolves around a series of true animal stories that the authors themselves experienced.
Featured here are a central cast of animal characters... the geese Elias and Captain Krook, the dogs Kadett, Binna and Irk, the squirrel Kirre, the cat Katinka, Olson the turtle and handsome Ferdinand the bull among others. All these creatures have been a part of Aja and Alf's life and therefore, they learned their curious quirks and understood their joyful interactions while observing them on a daily basis. Accompanied by sweet black-and-white photographs and illustrations of the animals, this book is also signed by the authors.
