Soups of Hakafri Restaurant - Bi-Lingual Vintage Israeli American Kosher Cookbook - Rena Frankln

Soups of Hakafri Restaurant - Bi-Lingual Vintage Israeli American Kosher Cookbook - Rena Frankln

Sharing a good recipe is, I think, an important part of loving good food and finding pleasure in cooking...  Rena Franklin

{HISTORY}

Rena Franklin (1934-2017), was an American born transplant to Israel who was passionate about celebrating and sharing the authentic cuisine of her Jewish heritage. She opened two popular restaurants in Isreal that left diners continuously requesting the secrets of her recipes, most often the soups. That constant curiosity led to the compilation of this cookbook - made up of favorites from her Hakafri restaurant. With specific procedures, ideal food brand recommendations, and exact ingredients,  Rena made it possible for home cooks worldwide to achieve the very same results just as if they were dining in Hakafri themselves.  Written in both English and Hebrew this cookbook contains over 5 dozen recipes meant to complement a wealth of cross-cultural meals. Published originally in Israel in 1979, this is the 1981 version published in America.
