It took seven years for Ohio gardeners, Faith Swanson and Virginia Rady to write Herb Garden Design. First published in 1984, they researched and visited a vast array of different types of herb garden designs and experimented with actual layouts in their own gardens before they felt confident enough to create this extensive and knowledgeable book illustrating herb gardens for all-size plots and all levels of gardening skill.

We especially love it here in the Vintage Kitchen for its detailed drawings. {CONDITION}

In lovely vintage condition, this book is very clean and bright inside and out. A previous owner's bookplate appears on the side cover and their personalized book stamp is impressed in the bottom corner of the front endpaper. The back cover has a small crease in the bottom left-hand corner. Please see photos.
